Vintage Conditions:
The 2005 growing season was mild with cool nights affording optimum ripening conditions. 
Good development of colour and polyphenols combined with sugar ripeness provided fruit
from which wines with great depth and complexity were made.

           Cassis and minty fruit with subtle oak and firm tannins,
                     a mouthfilling palate
          and the potential for medium term cellaring.

Winemaking:Produced in traditional open fermenters and matured in French Oak
for 18 months.

Nose:Blackcurrant, spearmint fruit aromas and vanilla oak 
Palate:
Luscious berry fruit with hints of chocolate and a firm finish
make this an elegant and stylish drinking wine.
