100% Shiraz
Vintage
Conditions:
The 2005 growing season was mild with cool nights
affording optimum ripening conditions
where good development of colour and polyphenols
combined with sugar ripeness provided fruit
from which wines with great depth and complexity were made.
Winemaking:
Processed in traditional open fermenters,
using 4 hourly hand plunging and pump overs.
Subsequently matured for 20 months
in a mixture of French and American Oak.

           Elegant, spicy and aromatic
this Shiraz oozes rich flavours 
                          of licorice and forest berries 
        with firm, chalky tannins 
                               providing a clean, lingering finish.
